• Machine learning: Realising the benefits of the global technological revolution in machine learning, AI, computer vision and deep learning.
• Quantum materials and technologies: Exploring the role of quantum sensing, quantum communications, and quantum photonics to deliver new capabilities in telecommunications, defence and medical sciences.
• Industrial AI: Empowering industry to advance the adoption of AI to develop solutions for autonomous and augmented intelligence systems.
• Immersive technologies: Applying augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), digital interactive and immersive technologies to enhance user capability and create new products, services and experiences.
