Together, we’re creating opportunities that connect education with elite sport, supporting health and wellbeing in the community, and driving social inclusion through the power of sport. 

Adelaide University and the Adelaide Football Club are both passionate about elevating South Australia on the national stage – and the partnership will provide exciting opportunities to do so through education and outreach, hospitality and game-day activations, engagement opportunities, and much more. 

Lead the game with a Diploma in Sport Management

Developed and delivered in partnership with the Adelaide Crows Institute of Sports Business, Adelaide University's Diploma in Sport Management is a one-year, full-fee paying program integrating essential classroom learning with direct, real industry experience.

The Diploma in Sport Management gives students exclusive access to behind-the-scenes insights and hands-on experience within a professional AFL club environment. You won’t just study the theory, you’ll learn alongside Adelaide Crows staff in key areas such as marketing, events and operations, discovering how the business of sport really works.

During this one-year program you’ll explore core principles of sport and recreation and sports business operations, and learn marketing, sponsorship and leadership skills. You’ll complete 120 hours of work placement with the Club, gaining valuable industry exposure. 

The unique partnership between Adelaide University and the AFC gives students the opportunity to study at the Club’s state of the art facilities. You’ll learn from industry professionals and get hands-on training in an elite sporting environment. Two graduates each year also have the chance to secure a paid full-time position at Adelaide Football Club.

On successful completion of the program, you could receive guaranteed entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Business majoring in Sport Management.
