School sessions

School sessions

Blending the worlds of fun and education, the Planetarium’s flexible school sessions assist in covering the Australian Curriculum, with experiences suitable for primary, middle and high school classes. Topics covered by our experienced astronomers are guided by the ACARA Framework Strand called Earth and Space Sciences for the Standard of each year. This includes understanding the basic motions of the Sun, Earth and Moon and their effect on everyday life; components of the solar system; and understanding the universe and the nature of space exploration.

A full-dome movie is included in each session. View our library of movies.
