Whether you are part of a sporting club, scout group, church group, or any other organisation, the Planetarium is a great venue to add to your annual calendar of events.
Sessions run for approximately 60 minutes. Extended sessions can be arranged upon request. Extra charges apply.
Bookings are essential to visit the Planetarium.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the session commencing.
No food or drink to be consumed in the Planetarium.
Use of mobile phones, electronic devices and photography are prohibited inside the Planetarium.
Prams are not permitted inside the Planetarium.
PARKING – if you are parking in the ML6 car park or along University Boulevard, please ensure you pay for your parking upon arrival. A parking meter is located at the front of the materials and minerals building (the white building next to the Planetarium). Parking is free after 6pm weekdays and all day on the weekends.
Please note: The Planetarium is not suitable for children under 4 years of age. If you do bring younger children, we kindly ask that you seat yourself closer to the door. As a courtesy to other patrons, if your child becomes restless or noisy during the session, we ask that you please exit the Planetarium. We have a foyer area for carers attending with younger siblings.
