Bonython Hall

Bonython Hall

A grand, historic venue for events

One of Adelaide University’s most recognisable landmarks, the heritage-listed Bonython Hall provides a distinguished and grand setting for major events. Built in the 1930s as a gift from Sir Langdon Bonython, the gothic-inspired building is constructed from Murray Bridge limestone with interiors finished in polished Australian oak creating a lavish atmosphere.

As the University’s dedicated ceremonial hall, it regularly hosts graduations, public lectures, conferences, and community events. The highly adaptable space can be set up for lectures, banquets, cocktail events and more

Bonython Hall is located adjacent to the Goodman Crescent lawns.
