The Waite Campus Library is also known as the Woolhouse Library, named after prominent botanist Harold William Woolhouse. Reflecting the research strengths of the Waite Campus, the major themes of the collection include agriculture, plant biotechnology and breeding, plant pathology, horticulture, soil sciences, viticulture and wine science. The Waite Campus Library offers a variety of spaces for study, research and group work.

University staff, students, and affiliates (current staff of co-located partners AWRI, CSIRO, PIRSA/SARDI) are able to access the library during open hours using their University ID/access card.  

Title holders are entitled to be issued with a University staff card, which can be collected from Student Assist at Adelaide City Campus East or requested online Other visitors to the library can request for a temporary Visitor card by visiting the Estates and Facilities Office located at Hartley House (see map below). Visitor cards must be returned to Hartley House after use.

The library is located on the ground floor of the Woolhouse Library Building and has wheelchair access.  

An accessible toilet is located within the library.

The returns chute is located just outside the front doors to the library.  Items can be returned to any of the Adelaide University libraries.
