To ensure service delivery is constantly improving and meeting peoples’ needs, our School works in partnership and alignment with national professional bodies, government, industry and community – through student industry placements, workforce development initiatives, or collaborative projects and research.

Industry can engage with our school through advisory groups, partnerships in work integrated learning activities (student placements), professional development opportunities for health workforce, and by collaborating with our expert academics and researchers through innovative activities, events and partnerships.
Community members can engage with our students while they develop valuable hands-on experience on placement, for example through our midwifery students’ Continuity of Care Experience (CoCE) – providing care and support to pregnant women and pregnant people through the childbirth continuum and beyond.
