Our study areas

We nurture talent in a supportive environment

We support the next generation of versatile, world-class musicians and performance artists in composition, technology, public events, and pedagogy.

We offer expert supervision in traditional fields such as performance, composition, and musicology, and in contemporary fields of digital technologies and sound design for computer games, film, virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI).

Study areas

Our students thrive in a supportive learning environment, guided by staff who are internationally recognised leaders in their fields. With students from Australasia, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, and a lively, diverse on-campus musical life, the Elder Conservatorium of Music and School of Performing Arts offers a rich cultural environment for learning, research, collaboration, and creativity.
