We are proud to connect with industry, government, alumni, and community to enrich South Australia’s musical and cultural landscape.
At the Elder Conservatorium of Music and the School of Performing Arts, engagement is at the heart of what we do. From our much-loved Concert Series in the historic Elder Hall, to exciting music theatre productions, we bring world-class performance to the community. We invite you to support the next generation of musicians and performing artists through donations, bequests, or by joining the Elder Conservatorium Circle. Schools are welcomed to inspiring concerts and workshops, while the Open Music Academy (OMA) offers lessons, masterclasses and hands-on experiences for all ages. Our musicians can bring artistry to your event, and our venues host everything from intimate recitals to gala productions. As the home of the acclaimed Australian String Quartet (ASQ) and the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB), we nurture excellence at every stage. Together, we celebrate music’s power to connect, uplift and inspire.
Concert Series
The Elder Conservatorium hosts a themed concert series each year in our iconic Elder Hall, with weekly lunchtime concerts during the semester, as well as special after hours concerts. The concerts feature our staff and students, as well as renowned international musicians.
