Explore ways to engage with the School of Dentistry

At the School of Dentistry, we’re proud of the strong partnerships we’ve built with our community and the dental profession.

Our Adelaide Dental Hospital is run in partnership with the South Australian Dental Service. It features 89 dental chairs, allowing students to work alongside professional dentists to deliver year-round oral health services to the community.

We also open our Dental Simulation Clinic to the broader profession, offering facility hire for dental and oral health organisations, and providing short courses designed for continuing professional development.

Get involved

Access to high quality oral health is integral for individual and societal health. The work of our School is proudly built with and alongside the support of industry partners and the general community.

If you are interested in partnering with us, please get in touch.

Industry

Our school conducts our research and education with collaboration with government bodies, private and public organisations, research bodies, partnering universities and individuals to ensure we’re always improving our own practice, and taking an active part in creating healthier futures.

Community

Our Community Outreach Dental Program provides essential oral health care to hundreds of people each year who are experiencing homelessness or have other issues that mean they are unable to access dental care through usual pathways.

Volunteer opportunities

The Volunteer Patient Program involves members of the public helping our dental and oral hygiene/therapy students learn the critical skill of effective patient communication through guided role-play.
