Our Education Quality principles

The Adelaide University Education Quality Framework (EQF) sets out our aspirations for an exceptional student experience, guided by academic standards and engagement with community and industry. It fosters a culture of quality in which all stakeholders are actively engaged in enhancing student experience and outcomes, while ensuring sound governance and quality assurance in teaching and learning.

The holistic quality framework is designed for purpose and will be embedded at every level to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to quality in education.

The five principles for our Education Quality Policy are as follows:

1.       We are committed to a culture of quality that supports our aspiration for a transformative student experience.

2.      Our students are at the heart of the education process. Their perspectives, feedback, and experiences are fundamental in shaping and improving our curriculum and teaching practices.

3.      We will review our curriculum at least every five years to meet industry needs and accreditation standards, as appropriate, and to ensure our graduates are well-prepared and competitive in their fields locally and globally.

4.      We will provide opportunities for staff to undertake professional development and support a culture of continuous learning, informed by evolving education, student, industry, and societal needs.

5.      We will regularly monitor our curriculum using an evidence-based approach to inform quality and strategic improvements, while maintaining legislative compliance.
