Welcome to the Student Experience and Success Portfolio

The Student Experience and Success (SES) Portfolio plays a key role in providing a connected, inclusive, and transformative experience for every student, ensuring they feel supported, engaged, and confident as they navigate university life and prepare for their future.

We bring together the teams, initiatives, and partnerships that shape this experience, working closely with Colleges, Schools, and other portfolios to provide seamless, integrated academic and support services.

This approach enables us to provide responsive, personalised support that enhances student wellbeing, engagement, and success while fostering a connected, inclusive, and future-ready student community.

There are six functions within the SES Portfolio, providing support at every stage of the student journey:

  • Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor – Student Experience and Success
  • Partnering and Strategic Projects
  • Student and Academic Services
  • Student Engagement
  • Student Ombud
  • Student Success.
