I am currently studying in a graduate research program, will the launch of Adelaide University’s research programs affect me?
Last Modified: 12/Dec/2024
Current graduate research students continuing their studies will transition to the new institution in either their existing or an equivalent Adelaide University research program from 2026. In early 2025, all current graduate research students will receive communications that will inform them of their proposed Adelaide University program.
Staff from both foundation universities will be transitioned during 2025. This will have minimal impact on you, as your supervisor will remain the same and the location in which you conduct research will likely also be unaffected. Your enrolment will be transitioned automatically for you when Adelaide University opens in January 2026.
If you are in receipt of a research scholarship, you can rest assured your scholarship payments will continue as we transition to Adelaide University.
We anticipate that international students with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) will have a new CoE issued for Adelaide University in late 2025. The new Adelaide University CoE will take effect from 1 January, 2026.
Throughout 2025 current graduate research students will receive ongoing information regarding the transition to Adelaide University through monthly newsletters in addition to individual communications regarding program transition.
