A major is a sequence of courses in a study area at the undergraduate level. Majors consist of 8 courses or 48 units at the undergraduate level.

A specialisation is a sequence of courses in a study area at the postgraduate level. Specialisations usually constitute 4 courses or 24 units at the postgraduate level, but this may vary depending on the program.


A minor is a sequence of courses in a study area at the undergraduate level. Minors constitute 4 courses or 24 units at the undergraduate level.


Majors, specialisations and minors will be listed on your parchment.
