What is an undergraduate degree?

An undergraduate degree is an academic program of study leading to a qualification, such as an associate degree, diploma or bachelor's degree. Honours degrees are also considered undergraduate degrees.


The most common undergraduate degree is a bachelor's degree, it is usually the first degree you undertake when starting university. Bachelor's degrees are normally three to four years in length as a full-time student.
