What documents do I need to accept an offer as an international student?

Last Modified: 07/Aug/2024

The documents you need to provide to accept your offer depend on whether your offer is conditional or unconditional, and whether you are a sponsored student or not.

Conditional offer

If you receive a conditional offer, the conditions will be outlined in your Offer of Admission. You must fulfil all the conditions before you can accept your offer.

Conditions might include (but are not limited to):

  • providing proof of English language requirements (e.g. IELTS or attending a pre-enrolment English program)
  • completion of academic qualifications, provision of official documents (e.g. original or certified copies of your documents or final academic results)
  • satisfying our Genuine Student requirements.

When all your offer conditions are met, you (or your Education Agent) can accept the offer.

Unconditional offer

If you receive an unconditional offer, all you need to do is provide your signed Offer of Admission and a copy of your passport, pay your tuition fee deposit, and organise your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) (if you are arranging your own OSHC).

Accepting your offer

If you applied with an Education Agent, all you will need to do is give them permission to accept the offer on your behalf.

If you applied directly, you need to log into the Online Application System and accept the offer yourself.
