What is SATAC?

Last Modified: 13/Jul/2024

SATAC is the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre. SATAC's job is to process and assess applications for entry to tertiary courses in South Australia and the Northern Territory. SATAC then provides their participating institutions with a list of eligible applicants. The institutions decide who will receive an offer and then SATAC makes the offers on their behalf.

Adelaide University partners with SATAC to manage and assess domestic applications to study.

International Year 12 students, completing the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), or equivalent, or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma (in Australian only) are required to apply via South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC).

Applications made via SATAC are done within mySATAC.
