Under the direction of new staff member Alex Taylor, our Elder Conservatorium Big Band play the music of Australian composers – including works from Perica, Panichi, Voss, Francis and Ferguson (with special guests).

Latin Jazz!

University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) Latin Ensemble and the Elder Conservatorium Latin Ensemble and Big Band celebrate the culmination of their very first collaboration. The concert will also feature internationally acclaimed UNLV staff Pepe Jimenez (percussion) and Israe Butler (trombone).

Elder Conservatorium Jazz Singers

After the success of 2025’s Ladies of Song concert the senior jazz singers return for another night of powerful vocals and emotive interpretations of songs from the 1930s to now.

Quentin Angus

 New York City-based jazz guitarist Quentin Angus returns to his hometown to release a  new album that  blends jazz, hip-hop and R&B. Featuring a band of genre-bending  international artists, this will be  a night to remember. ‘Fresh, sophisticated, vibrant and formidable’ Edward Blanco,  All About Jazz.

Our internationally acclaimed guitarist James Muller will feature in a night of blues-based jazz, featuring a Hammond organ trio and special guest vocalist Lauren Henderson.

The Elder Conservatorium Jazz Guitar Ensemble (under the direction of James Muller) and the Saxophone Ensemble (under the direction of Vashti Tyrell) will perform a double-bill concert celebrating the music they have been preparing all year.

Elder Conservatorium Latin Ensemble combine forces with the Adelaide University Salsa Mania Club for a night of Latin dancing.
