The Antony Simpson Scholarship in Engineering was established at the University of Adelaide in 2025 by a generous donation to the University from Antony Simpson in honour of William ‘Devon’ Doble, a respected lecturer in Machine Design at the University of Adelaide from 1955 to 1982. Antony established this Scholarship to support and empower future engineering students. Through this gift, he hopes to inspire others to innovate, share their ideas, and make meaningful contributions to the world.
