About me

Rowena is the Triage Counsellor and is here to assist students who are in distress or require immediate support, she responds to critical incidents and acute situations across all campuses. Over a decade of experience working with acute mental health crisis, assessment and clinical interventions. Primary interest in neurodivergence, mood disorders, personality disorders. Certified Autism Spectrum Clinical Specialist. Providing support, interventions, assessment and risk mitigation for tertiary students. Committed Social Worker with a strong focus on social justice, access and equity. Rowena utilises a range of evidence based interventions to foster safety and teach skills to assist students and staff to manage when in distress.
