About me
Ben (he/him) is an enthusiastic teacher and researcher in applied
mathematics. His research specialisation is the use of analytical and
numerical techniques to study linear wave scattering problems, with the
primary application being the study of ocean wave energy conversion---an
emerging source of renewable energy. His research involves the
modelling of physical systems using linear partial differential
equations and their solution using numerical methods.
