School of Chemical Engineering governance

The School of Chemical Engineering is guided by a strong and inclusive governance framework that drives excellence in teaching, research, and industry engagement. Led by the Dean, the School Executive Team provides strategic oversight across academic and operational priorities. The team includes the Dean, School Manager, and a group of Academic Leads who provide leadership across key portfolios such as Research and Innovation, Academic Affairs, Student Experience and Success, and International and External Engagement.

The School is also supported by an active Industry Advisory Board, which provides strategic guidance on industry trends, innovation, and workforce needs. This ensures our programs remain relevant, future-focused, and aligned with the evolving demands of the global chemical engineering profession.

A broader governance network strengthens the School’s daily operations and long-term development. Program Directors, Academic and Research Integrity Officers, and the Postgraduate Coordinator uphold academic standards and research excellence, while Year Coordinators, Outreach and Seminar Coordinators, and the Lab Users Forum foster collaboration, community, and engagement.

Together, these structures reflect the School’s commitment to transparency, shared leadership, and continuous improvement, ensuring that every member of the School community contributes to a vibrant, innovative, and industry connected academic environment.
